DESCRIPTION:Looking for a way to give back while enjoying the great outdoors? Join us for a hands-on volunteer project at Tremont's ( https://tremontfuture.org/) new second campus in Townsend! We'll be working together to clear invasive species\, plant trees or haul out old debris left behind on the property nothing hazardous\, just a chance to help restore this beautiful space. Expect uneven\, hilly terrain and no running water\, so come prepared with water and an adventurous spirit! (Restrooms are a short drive away.) Afterward\, we'll hear from the Tremont team about their exciting vision for the site. Want to keep the fun going? Stick around after the project for lunch at Peaceful Side Social with fellow YPs!Please park at the Townsend Visitors Center Event Entrance (7930 E Lamar Alexander Pkwy\, Townsend\, TN 37882).\nIf you're coming from Maryville\, pass the Townsend Visitors Center and turn right at the end of the wood fence onto the gravel drive. I'll have a gate open for parking just inside the entrance on the gravel drive. Please plan to arrive between 8:45 and 9:00 AM\, and we'll then head to Tremont's second location together.
