Young Professionals - Special Growers Community Service

You're invited to lend a hand in preparing for Special Growers' Summer Garden Dinner Fundraiser. Special Growers was launched to provide a work opportunity for their children and other adults with special needs. With the support of many community partners and individuals, a safe and inclusive work environment has been developed for our disabled staff to learn job skills, gain confidence, and prepare for their future careers.

 Volunteer tasks include: 

-Setting up tables and chairs for event 

-Weeding/minor grounds keeps 

-Leaf blowing 

-Building 3-4 floral arrangements 

-Dressing the table (linens, flatware, etc.) 

-If someone is interested, they have some hardcore get dirty tasks (mediate some beds - compost, wheelbarrow, shovels)
