Success in 90 - Six Scientific Metrics That Define Culture Health - Charlie Slagle

Wednesday, September 2, 2026 (8:30 AM - 10:00 AM) (EDT)

Description

Organizational culture is often difficult to define—and even harder to measure. This session explores how culture can now be assessed using real behavioral data generated through everyday workplace communication.

Drawing on research from The Science of Culture by Bronson Taylor, CEO of Workplace.io, participants will learn how digital conversations through platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, email, and virtual meetings leave behind “digital dust” that can reveal important indicators of an organization’s culture, including trust, alignment, collaboration, engagement, accountability, and adaptability.

Rather than relying solely on annual surveys or subjective observations, this session introduces HR professionals and organizational leaders to six core dimensions of culture that can be assessed continuously through language patterns and communication behaviors.

Participants will gain practical insight into:

  • How organizational culture shows up in everyday workplace communication
  • Six core dimensions that can help measure and understand culture
  • How communication patterns can reveal levels of trust, alignment, engagement, and accountability
  • Early warning signs of employee disengagement, burnout, and cultural challenges
  • Ways leaders and HR professionals can positively influence culture through stronger communication practices
  • How behavioral data can complement traditional employee surveys and other culture-assessment tools

Special Bonus: Each participant will receive a FREE copy of The Science of Culture to continue exploring the concepts and strategies presented during the session.
